#RedSox Game Summary (April 15) Masterpiece Sale

#RedSox Game Summary (April 15) Masterpiece Sale. Chris Sale was outstanding, going 7 innings and giving up 1 run on 3 hits and 3 walks, with 12 Ks. The one run came on a walk and 2 singles in the 3rd inning. The Rays were faced with a huge challenge when starter Jake Ororizzi left in the 2nd with an injury, and the bullpen had to finish. It looked bad for Tampa Bay when Mitch Moreland homered immediately off Erasmo Ramirez, but Rays pitching settled down after that. The Sox were unable to score again until the 7th, when 2 singles and a walk loaded the bases for Sandy Leon, who drove in the second Boston run with a fielder’s choice. That was all it took for a Red Sox win. Moreland also doubled in the game, coming a triple short of the cycle, and going 3-for-4 in the game. He is just tearing it up in so far this season. Matt Barnes and Craig Kimbrel finished things off. Boston beat Tampa Bay, 2-1, at Fenway Park. Record: 6-5. Game 11/151.
