#RedSox Game Summary (June 3) Back to form. David Price looked like himself again, going 7 strong innings against Baltimore, giving up just one run on a Manny Machado solo blast in the 7th, and just 2 other hits and 1 walk while fanning 7. The Sox opened the scoring in the 4th with a 2 run dinger by Hanley Ramirez off Orioles starter Dylan Bundy, who lasted just 5 innings. Boston picked up 2 more in the 8th when Mookie Betts doubled, reached 2nd on a sacrifice bunt by Andrew Benintendi and scored on a fielder’s choice. Hanley Ramirez drove in the inning’s second run with a bullet to deep left field; Xander Bogaerts scored all the way from first. In the 9th, Deven Marrero doubled, and Mookie drove him in with a single. Joe Kelly came on in the 8th, but after allowing two consecutive singles with two out, John Farrell turned to Craig Kimbrel for the 4 out save. It was a bigger job than usual, however, as he gave up a single to Mark Trumbo, who scored on a Trey Mancini double. Then, Kimbrel issued a rare walk before finally striking out Seth Smith to end the game. Bogaerts also doubled in the game. Boston beat Baltimore, 5-2, at Orioles Park at Camden Yards. Record: 30-25. Game 55/107.
