#RedSox Game Summary (June 25) Still looking for an answer. Doug Fister delivered a quality start in his Red Sox debut, delivering 6 innings with 3 runs on 7 hits and 3 walks. He punched out 6. Doug was acquired off waivers from the Angels to help shore up a starting rotation that has been banged up a bit lately. Despite this, the Sox were unable to overcome the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and recover a clear claim to first place in the AL East. The bulk of the LAA runs came in the 2nd, when they scored 3 runs on 4 hits, including a double by Kaleb Cowart. The Angels picked up an insurance run in the 9th off Craig Kimbrel when Ben Revere singled, stole second, and scored on a single by Cowart. The Sox runs came in the 2nd, on a solo blast by Mitch Moreland, and in the 5th on another solo dinger by Jackie Bradley, Jr. Someone please inject some energy into this team. Los Angeles at Anaheim beat Boston, 4-2, at Fenway Park. Record: 41-34. Game 75/87.
